一個Meiyu 兩種文化 三座城市 四個朋友/ One Meiyu, Two Cultures, Three Cities, Four Friends

五月中我趁著去參加RYLA會議的機會，順便和同學一起來個同學會之旅。開心嗎？見到久違的同學很開心。疲累嗎？長途旅行加時差超累。雖然我大部分的照片都笑不太出來(真的很累，皮膚又過敏抗議)，不過我心情是很不錯的。

At the middle of May, before attending RYLA Council, I had a reunion trip with my classmates. Happy? I was very happy to see my good friends. Tired? I was extremely tired as a result of long trip and jetlag. Though I did not laugh so much in the pictures (too tired and skin allergy), I was really in a good mood.

我覺得我在兩種不同的文化中適應的算不錯，在美國，我就有美國人該有的瘋狂生活，在台灣，我也能表現出社會能接受的模樣。在美國時，我會懷念台灣的方便，在台灣時，我會懷念美國的自由。在美國的那一個星期裡，每天喝的酒是兩杯起跳，在台灣，你要我喝兩杯以上則是很難，因為我從沒遇到讓我覺得可以開心到多喝一杯的場合。

I think that it's easy for me to adapt to two different cultures. When I was in the US, I enjoyed my crazy American life. When I am in Taiwan, I can act properly and follow the rules in this society. When I was in the US, I missed the convenient life in Taiwan. When I am in Taiwan, I miss the freedom I can have in the US. During that week in the US, I drank at least two glasses every single day. But when I am in Taiwan, it's difficult for friends to make me drink one more glass because I do not feel I am in such a good  mood that I should drink more.(Girls, now you know you are really good at making me feel happy.)  

這次旅行我去了三個城市：紐約、邁阿密、紐奧良。每個城市都有自己的特色，但說來我最懷念的還是紐奧良。我在那裡有快樂的兩年生活。紐奧良雖然不時尚，但是生活步調卻很輕鬆。

I visited three cities during this trip: New York City (Seriously speaking, Brooklyn), Miami Beach, and New Orleans. Every city has its own charms. But what I have missed  most is only New Orleans.  Though New Orleans is not as fashionable as New York City, the life style in New Orleans is pretty eazy.

連我在內，這次是個四個人的同學會。不知道下次見面會是何時，見到一位朋友也許容易，湊齊四個人還真是難耶。所以為了讓Amina, Noor, and Ishaneka看的懂這篇，我獻出了人生第一篇英文的部落文。我已經在倒數下次見面的日子啦。

This was a reunion trip for four young ladies. I have no idea when we will see each other again in the near future. It may be easy to meet one friend, but I believe it's hard to get four people together again. To memorize this trip and to make Amina, Noor, and Ishaneka understand what I want to say, I wrote down this first ever English notes. I can't wait to see all of you next time. I am counting down to the day when we get together somewhere.
